happy birthday
I think I'm beginning to like colouring on Photoshop! I sketched her, coloured her, and then printed her as a greeting card for mom's birthday today. It still needs a little cleaning up, but I'm loving the pastels and the whimsical feel it gives the sketch. So pretty!
feathers
I have a strange affinity with feathers and and all things fringe. Maybe I should've been born an Indian -- I ponder at times -- but then I decide it's better I wasn't. I couldn't do with the rawhide and hunting and skimpy clothes. Not that I'm here to judge the Indian tribes of way back when. All I'm saying is - Pocahontas definitely wore more clothes than they did. Not that I ever counted her as an accurate representation of everyday Indians anyways....ok, that's a lie.

seeing stripes
This is loosely based on an outfit I saw on one of my all-time favorite blogs cupcakes & cashmere.
Hogwarts
Yes, I'm one of those.
I cried at the London premiere. I cried at the midnight premiere. And I'm still feeling sniffly, not that that's a word. It is now.
This is obviously in honor of the Harry Potter films. It isn't Hermione, though I had intended on drawing her first. She's just a random Gryffindor. Although secretly, I've always been a Ravenclaw kind of girl.
thinking of you
A tall, mysterious blonde longingly staring off in a distant reverie of ___( you can fill in the blank there).
This was my very first attempt at watercolouring! Usually, I never got past the sketching part because I thought it would ruin the drawing --mais no! -- it actually made it better! Of course, this being my first attempt and all, and let's be honest here, it wasn't all that great. x
P.S. Can anyone please tell me how to center the top and bottom pictures on my page? Would be so helpful.
